2003

11.15.03 - Hey. This is my first entry. I wonder if anyone but me will even read this. If you do, send me an email to danhosek@msn.com. Anyway, I am busy preparing for next golf season. I met yesterday for the first time with a personal trainer to get me in the best shape to play. He is actually one of my co-workers who has been certified for his moonlight job. I never realized how poorly I did most exercises until we went through an upper body workout. We are going to tackle the lower body next time. Equipment-wise, I have just replaced the steel shaft in my new Titleist 980F 15 degree fairway wood with an EI-70 graphite shaft. It feels much better now, and I used it quite effectively in South Carolina last week. I'm quite happy with my putter (Never Compromise Z/I Gamma), and my 52, 56, and 60 degree Snake Eyes wedges. I also really like my Mizuno T-Zoid Pro II irons, although I am considering shortening them by about 1/2". I bought them on-line and they are just a bit long for me. I have been making up for that by choking up on every club on every shot, but I think making them the proper length would provide the most consistent shots. I do have a dynamic lie fit board to help me make a final length determination. More on that when it happens... Thanks for reading. Drop me a line.
