6.14.04 - Have to get photos of my crazy earth box tomatoes up. They are crazy tall. Dean started Theater Camp today and he seems to like it. We will see how day 2 goes... Did great work on the quilt at quilting club for DCMM this weekend.
6.10.04 - Still very busy, but have to catch you up. We had a great visit to KY and MO to see all the grandparents. The drive back was the worst, left Cape at 9:30 am and returned to our driveway a little after 2 am. Now that was a long day! Had Dean's 4th birthday party, Scooby Doo theme and then had our 4 year check up at the dr. 3 shots... ouch! But he recovered very quickly.
5.10.04 - Ok, can you say B~U~S~Y? After we caught our Valentines Day bout of stomach flu, I haven't been able to catch up. Now I finally feel like I am getting somewhere. We have been working in the garden, got the new kitchen floor installed on my birthday and general putzing around the house. On a cool note, one of my old friends from H.S. won a grammy! Congrats Mitch!
2.5.04 - Volleyball is still going well. I have a cold, well actually just Emma's sore throat and post nasal drip, but it is annoying none the less. I hope to get some more work done on Alex's quilt this weekend, since I don't have much energy for anything else. Playgroup has really taken off. I am now the Alexandria DCMetroMommy coordinator, which basically just puts a title on a job I have already been doing. We had playgroup here on Jan 28, and there was quite a turnout.
2.1.04 - Patty and I returned from cleaning mom's house. What a tiring job that was. But we made a lot of progress. And we got some My Daddy's Cheesecake, White Castles, Super Nachos from Taco Johns and Beef Jerky out of the deal, so we can't complain too much.
1.20.04 - We had our first women's volleyball games tonight. I served from 9-6 until 21-6 in the 3rd game when the game got called on time. I was bummed because I wanted to see how many I could serve in a row! But at least we won all 3, great way to start off the season!
1.12.04 - Wow, long time no write. So much has been going on. Let's see... won the volleyball tourney for womens - Hooray! Mom came to visit for about a week and we had a great time. Met a woman today who lives a neighborhood away and has 2 little boys the same age as my kids, so hopefully they can join us the playgroup.
